Isis

The first weeks of her life, she and her brothers and sisters lived in a separate room, to keep them away from being bothered by the other animals in the house. This is probably the reason why both she and her brother are not that fond of strangers. On top of that got Isis the sneezing disease when she was four weeks old. She needed medication, and had a long treatment for her eye which got infected. More reasons for her to not being fond of humans or being lifted. For a short time I feared she might got blind on one eye because of this disease (two of the other kittens got blind), but she managed well. The only reminder of her illness, is that she always stayed quite small.
Nowadays she has gotten rid of a lot of her shyness, and even shows herself when we have strangers in the house. She is very free towards me, and lays sometimes on my lap, or next to me (whether that is on the sofa, or on my desk). Isis has showed up as a little curious cat, which can show herself as very cute. To get your attention she often just announces that with a soft 'mieuw'.
This little kitty-cat of mine needs to be kept on a diet though: she might be small, but can eat like a lion! When her mother was still alive, they cooperated on regular base to steel my lunch out of my bag...
