| Pim (or Pimmetje as we called him) was the cosiest of all the cats I had. He jumped from the ground in your arms (or, if you were not alert enough, in your back). He loved laps and had a preference to sleep with you under the blanket. His trick was that he scratched his nails long enough on your nose till you woke up and lifted the blanket. He always was an easy cat. Healthy (except for once, getting the sneezing disease, caused by one of the other cats), playful, cosy and hardly fights with other cats. Even the neighbour cats were, till a certain limit, allowed to come in, without big problems. |

| After Ton started to live together with Petra, they found a new home for Pim in the north of Holland. He got there new friends, under which two lovely cats. He fell in love with the man of the house and the man of the house with him. From all I heard he was very happy. Nothing pleased me more! |

Pimmetje was deaf the last years, but that didn't really bother him. He always
talked a lot, only now he did it a little more and a little louder ;-)
On the 3rd of September 2004 I received a mail and a telephone call from Ton. Pim had died. Everything had gone extreme fast. He was ill for
only a few days, but his condition became
very rapidly bad.
Even though he reached the respectable age of 17 1/2 years and
even though I hadn't seen him for a while, this news went straight through my heart.
I wrote this story with tears in my eyes, but do also know: no cat could have had a better life.
Goodbye my sweet Pim, I had hoped to see you one more time
in this life. Just know: I always carry you in my heart! Read more here. |
